stenson v taylor
Stenson sunk the winning putt for Europe.
Henrik Stenson clinched a third straight Ryder Cup victory for Europe by crushing Vaughn Taylor 4&3 at the K Club on Sunday. The Swede lost the opening hole to a birdie but then a double-bogey six from Taylor at the sixth levelled things up. A birdie three for Stenson at the troublesome seventh put him ahead and he went three up after Taylor bogeyed the ninth and 12th. It went to four when Taylor missed a six-footer for par at the 14th and the Swede holed a six-foot par putt at the next to win the match and the Ryder Cup
